Optimised room acoustics: Quiet for concentrated work

Concrete and glass, which are used extensively in architecture, create hard surfaces with long reverberation times. As structural activation often precludes the use of sound-absorbing suspended ceilings, system walls with acoustically effective surfaces are essential.

Our perforated sheet steel absorbers offer not only maximum robustness and a clean, industrial design, but also functional added value: They are ideal for use as magnetic work surfaces. With a wall thickness of 105 mm, sound-absorbing surfaces (αw up to 0.85 and Rw,P up to 47 dB) can be achieved. The reduced reverberation time improves speech intelligibility and productivity – people understand each other better and speak more quietly.

Sound absorption test values fecophon αw = 0.5 to 1.0

Sound absorption test values acoustic single-sided Rw,P = 42 dB to 47 dB

Sound absorption test values acoustic two-sided Rw,P = 37 dB to 45 dB
