Sustainability begins before installation: the energy concept for our new production hall
The carbon footprint of buildings is becoming an increasingly critical factor for success. For us, therefore, sustainability does not end with the finished product, but begins right at the manufacturing stage.
In-house electricity generation: A PV system comprising 832 solar panels (350 kWp) supplies the new timber processing production hall directly with solar power, supplemented by the exclusive purchase of green electricity.
A circular economy in practice: Production waste and wood offcuts are thermally utilised. They heat the new hall (Energy Efficiency Building 55 EE) and are fed into a local heating network for surrounding buildings.
Resource efficiency: Intelligent LED lighting, controlled by daylight and occupancy sensors, ensures optimised energy consumption.
Digital precision for designers, feco partners and clients.
At the heart of the new hall lies a state-of-the-art machine park controlled by IT. This digital infrastructure ensures the highest precision in the manufacture of our timber and acoustic elements.
