ROKA MVZ

A symbiosis of technology and design
In the heart of Stuttgart, the interdisciplinary medical care center ROKA is setting new standards for dental treatment at the highest level. Under the leadership of the Gross family, a practice environment has been created that covers the entire spectrum from prophylaxis to complex oral and maxillofacial surgery. The challenge for feco was to combine the functional requirements of a state-of-the-art operating and laboratory facility with an inviting aesthetic that conveys safety and comfort to patients.

A front-of-house with flowing forms
The reception area creates a true “wow” effect. The guiding motif of curvature shapes the design: curved wall shells with real wood veneer form the centerpiece of the entrance and intuitively guide visitors through the elongated architecture. Flush-glazed fecofix elements were realized in an impressive curved design, emphasizing openness while ensuring acoustic discretion. In consultation and waiting areas, the all-glass system fecoplan provides transparency and lightness. Integrated air transfer elements fecoair enable continuous air exchange with excellent sound insulation, which is essential for a confidential atmosphere in the treatment rooms. The furnishings were also consistently integrated: seating from lapalma and COR blends harmoniously into the organic overall concept. For the consultation rooms, products from Brunner were selected, including the innovative Wankel table, which enables communication at eye level – a detail that makes transparency and a modern consulting culture spatially tangible.

Functionality in operating and laboratory areas
Without losing visual contact, noise-intensive equipment is acoustically separated, and parapet elements create visual connections while providing effective shielding. For the operating bed sluice, an extra-wide aluminum-framed glass door fecodoor A70 with mechanical drive was installed to ensure barrier-free and efficient workflows. Technical areas such as the X-ray sector were seamlessly integrated into the design concept using fecowall as a wall lining.

Consistent design through to the team areas
The design quality continues in the internal areas. Team spaces adopt the look of the patient areas and create a harmonious overall impression. A highlight is a central phone and meeting box for focused work and retreat. Workstations with desk systems from Sedus and ergonomic swivel chairs from Vitra combine functionality and design. All furniture integrates visually into the architectural concept, consistently continuing the connection between technology, design, and well-being.

The result is a symbiosis of technology and design: a practice where patients feel comfortable thanks to the bright, open design, and where the team can perform at its best under optimal acoustic and ergonomic conditions.
